ABOUT LEAH

Certified Postpartum Doula

Leah is honored and privileged to provide compassionate, evidence-based care for Twin Cities families in the postpartum period. She stumbled across DONA International’s website and two years later completed training and certification through DONA International as a postpartum doula.

With a background in Music Therapy and personal care assistance, Leah has had the pleasure of working with families and individuals from many different walks of life. It is now one of her greatest joys to bring that compassionate, holistic care to the birthing community and she strongly believes in creating accessible postpartum care for anyone who wants it.

ABOUT MEGAN

Birth Doula
Placenta Encapsulator

Megan knew she wanted to be surrounded by birth very early in her life after she had the honor of being present for her brothers’ births. She began the process of becoming a Birth Doula during her first pregnancy - where she learned firsthand just how much impact community support has, not only during a birth experience, but on the transition into parenthood. She believes every birthing person deserves to be supported throughout their pregnancy so they enter their birth with confidence and the power to advocate for their wants. She has been a gestational carrier for 2 families and is passionate about working with families that are going through fertility journeys of their own.

Megan has been a placenta encapsulator for over 10 years and prides herself on the care that she takes when a placenta is in her care. She offers preparation using the Raw Method or the Traditional Chinese Method as well as tinctures, cord keepsakes, and placenta art.

She lives in St. Paul with her husband and 2 children, is an avid reader, loves having a tool in her hand, and enjoys a nice sunny day on the patio.
